“The Formula 1 Grand Prix stands as a prestigious and globally celebrated motorsport championship, leveraging state-of-the-art machinery and cutting-edge technology to deliver captivating, adrenaline-fueled performances. Comprising a series of races hosted on storied tracks, purpose built circuits, and bustling city streets, this iconic event is making a triumphant return to Las Vegas After a 40-year hiatus, promising to seamlessly blend the worlds of motorsport and entertainment. This fresh identity aims to amplify the event's thrill while encapsulating the electrifying ambiance of Las Vegas.”

In crafting my logo, I sought to encapsulate the thrill of a race alongside the allure of Las Vegas. Initially, I toyed with the idea of two wheels but opted for a singular wheel for better overall balance. With Las Vegas offering a myriad of iconic imagery, settling on gambling felt natural given its synonymous association with the city. Utilizing cards added a playful and distinctive touch to the representation. Pairing a bold race type with a geometric condensed font was a deliberate choice, evoking the fast-paced essence of racing. Ultimately, I believe my logo adeptly captures the vibrant ambiance of Las Vegas while conveying the exhilaration of experiencing a Formula 1 race firsthand.

This project served as a revelation, igniting my interest in the realm of Sports Branding as a potential career path. Guided by my esteemed professor, a prominent figure in the sports industry, I was exposed to the vast array of opportunities inherent in this field. Despite its challenges, this undertaking provided invaluable insights into my capabilities as a designer and the distinctive flair can bring to the table within this domain should I decide to pursue it further. Gratitude is owed to my exceptional classmates whose collaboration transformed this brand project into a thrilling, Formula 1-worthy experience.
